The Director of Communications is a full-time, 12-month position with salary and benefits. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following: sports information duties for the majority of the league's 24 sports, social media management, digital video streaming, championships administration, branding, and other duties as assigned by the Commissioner. This individual will also be directly involved with all facets of league administration. In addition, the Director will be responsible for press releases, promotion of Conference championships, and is expected to represent the Conference at select administrative meetings, championships, and other events. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat, etc.) & Microsoft Office Suite
Proficiency with graphic design and all social media platforms
Previous experience in athletics and/or with media relations
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Creative and proficient with technology
Must be detail-oriented, have the ability to multi-task, and able to meet tight deadlines
Familiarity with Mac OS laptops
Previous experience with digital video streaming
Sports photography experience
Video editing and/or motion graphics software
