Position Summary The Men's Soccer Assistant Coach supports the Men's Soccer Head Coach in the administration of all aspects of the sport program including coaching, recruiting, contest scheduling, supervising sports personnel, budget management, student-athlete mentoring, and ensuring program compliance with NCAA, Conference, and University rules and regulations. The Men's Soccer Assistant Coach will embrace and model a positive coaching philosophy and associated techniques; create and maintain a culture of respect and positive communication. Essential Functions Student-Athlete Management & Development Organization/Coordination of Yearly Evaluation. Team training and implementation of system, tactics, and ideas. Manage Denver Soccer Electronic Communication. Recruiting. Scouting - Scout schedule and power point presentation. NCAA Compliance and Risk Management. Game Day Management. Soccer Equipment Management. TOCA Machine Liaison. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations with demonstrated exemplary ethical conduct and conformance to NCAA rules and regulations. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree. Salary Grade Number The salary grade for the position is 8. Salary Range The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000. The University of Denver has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The University may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.
