Assistant Football Strength & Conditioning Coach

Under the general supervision of the Head Football Strength & Conditioning Coach, act as a Coach for the Division's Strength & Conditioning Program in accordance with NCAA, Big Ten, and University regulations. Areas of responsibility include: * Leading the strength and conditioning drills * Teaching weight lifting and conditioning techniques * Managing the safety and maintenance of the weight room area * Development and implementation of warmup and cool down protocols * Computerized data entry and tracking of student-athlete workouts * Supervision of student employees * Other duties as assigned by the Director of Football Strength & Conditioning

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required. Minimum of one (1) year of successful collegiate strength and conditioning experience (preferably within Division I) is preferred. Selected candidate is required to maintain current certification through a nationally accredited strength and conditioning certification program (National Strength Coaches Association and Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association are both accredited) in accordance with NCAA requirements. Previous experience working with Football is also preferred. Selected candidate is required to maintain current certification through a nationally accredited strength and conditioning certification program (National Strength Coaches Association and Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association are both accredited) in accordance with NCAA requirements. Conditions of Appointment: This is a Limited appointment. Salary will be assigned within the appropriate range, commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience.
