Coordinator, Events & Equipment Manager

Rider University, an NCAA Division I institution and member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) invites applications for an anticipated opening for a Coordinator of Events and Equipment Manager. Reporting to the Associate Director of Operations & Facilities, this individual will manage games/events for all athletic programs and serve as the point of contact for visiting teams, officials and security in the absence of the Associate Athletic Director. Individual will: assist in the management, administration and supervision of all athletic facilities which require evenings and weekends; supervise and train student event staff; work closely with departmental and other University constituents to prepare all home venues for competition; coordinate maintenance and distribution of uniforms and equipment for 20 Division I athletics teams including the laundering of uniforms and practice gear, sizing of equipment, and billing athletes for outstanding equipment; inspect all incoming supplies and goods while maintaining an efficient inventory system; and hire, train and supervise equipment room staff (student workers).
