Kenyon College invites applications for the position of Assistant Women’s Volleyball Coach. This is a full time, 10-month reporting position with benefits. Under general direction of the Head Women’s Volleyball Coach, this coach will assist with the responsibilities of the NCAA D-III women’s volleyball program in accordance and compliance with NCAA, NCAC, and Kenyon College policies and regulations. The Assistant Women’s Volleyball Coach will work with the head coach to fulfill the following responsibilities: assistance in leading and organizing all facets of a successful Division III volleyball program, knowledge of and adherence to NCAC and NCAA rules; recruitment of quality student-athletes including but not limited to: off campus evaluation, high level of communication, organization of on-campus visits, and follow-up with club/high school coaches; practice planning and execution; scouting reports; social media strategies; team travel arrangements; court set-up and breakdown; team warmups; practice and game video as well as league film exchange; and mentoring of student-athletes. Additional departmental responsibilities will be assigned in game management, teaching, and / or administration.

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred. 2 or more years of college coaching with experience at the Division III level preferred. CPR, First Aid and AED Certification is required (and can be completed after hire).
