Winona State University invites you to join our Community of Learners as an Athletic Trainer. The expected start date for this position is July 1, 2021. As an Athletic Trainer, you will be responsible for providing athletic training services for the intercollegiate athletic program, including coverage of the athletic training facility, practices, and home/away events. Additionally, you will act as a preceptor for students enrolled in the Athletic Training Program (ATP) as assigned by the athletic training faculty.
Minimum qualifications for this position include (1) a bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training or related field from a program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CATTE); (2) at least one year of successful experience as a certified Athletic Trainer in providing athletic training services in a clinic, high school, or university setting; (3) Certified by the Board of Certification for Athletic Trainer (BOC); and (4) Current Minnesota Athletic Trainer registration or eligibility to attain upon hire.
