Graduate Assistant Women's Soccer Coach

Central Methodist University is now accepting applications for a graduate assistant for the women’s soccer program. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: •Assist Head Coach and Assistant Coach with administration of the Reserve & Varsity women’s soccer team •Monitor student-athletes to ensure academic success: Student learning center weekly reports •Coordinate all fundraising and community service •Budget management •Plan and execute Reserve team training under team playing philosophy. •Recruitment of qualified student-athletes for Reserve team and Varsity team: main focus on reserve team recruiting. •Coordination of campus visits •Manage work study students •Upload game film: HUDL: Upload all Home conference games within 24 hours. •Field preparation/set-up (Varsity & Reserve games): Field set 2 hours before warm up unless Reserve training/game conflict. •Coordinate Reserve team travel •Assist in promoting soccer program through camps and clinics: ID camp Coordinator. •Team Building Activities throughout entire year. •Attend all Strength & conditioning sessions unless conflicts with Reserve training/games. Bi-weekly meetings with S&C coaches. •Team Laundry: Wash all game kits within 24 hours. •Hold a Class E Driver’s License. Central Methodist University is an NAIA member and competes in the Heart of America Athletic Conference (HEART). Minimum Qualifications: The successful candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree. Candidate will have previous collegiate playing experience. Candidate must possess strong soccer coaching and motivational skills, strong oral communication skills, and the ability to manage student-athletes effectively. Preferred Qualifications: Experience coaching female athletes at the club or collegiate level. Possess soccer coaching license(s). Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
