Director of Athletics Ticketing

East Tennessee State University, located in Johnson City, TN and a member of the Southern Conference, is currently accepting applications for the position of Director of Athletics Ticketing. The Director of Athletics Ticketing is responsible for developing, maintaining, and increasing season ticket and group sales for football, men's and women's basketball, baseball, and other special events. Revenue will be generated via phone calls, prospecting new business and program ideas, referrals, partial and flex ticket plans, face-to-face presentations, and in-game appointments with a strong focus on relational selling and customer retention. Reporting to the Senior Associate Athletic Director for External Operations, responsibilities for this position include: 1.Manages donor and ticketing spreadsheets, databases, ticket holder contact information and ticketing / giving history. 2.Serving as point of contact for AudienceView database system that houses all donor accounts. Will work with External Operations staff to devise and implement a comprehensive ticket sales and donor stewardship plan on an annual basis. This will include but is not limited to assisting with: a.Direct Mail solicitation and email ticket sales and giving campaigns. b.Outbound renewal and upgrade phone calls c.Premium seating and priority parking sales d.Coordination of restrictive giving funds e.Lead generation and solicitations f.Stewardship g.Social media creativity 3.Executes the sale and allocation of season tickets, premium seating, group seats, individual/single game tickets, and parking. 4.Develop and implement policies, procedures, and processes for training, accountability and consistency purposes which are aligned with previous University audits. 5.Manages graduate assistants and student workers. 6.Works closely with external staff to create and execute marketing/sales plans for football, men's and women's basketball, baseball, and other special events. 7.Cultivate personal and business relationships that drive the vision and mission of the department. 8.Tracks and reports weekly sales to provide to the Athletic Director and Athletics Business Office. 9.Works games, nights, weekends, and holidays as assigned. Available at box office to greet, support, and serve current and potential clients daily and at games. 10.Oversees activation of all group related sales. 11.Manage game day staffing assignments. 12.Contribute to the ETSU Athletics external relations strategy for revenue maximization, enhance fan experience, and strengthening of the ETSU brand. 13.Performs other duties as assigned.
