The Director shall be responsible for all external communications, media relations, marketing and sports information including – promoting RMAC student-athletes through the website, social media, press releases, pictures and other information; designing graphics for online and printed material; updating, disseminating and archiving statistics and performance records; developing and implementing a social media strategy; promoting all championships and oversight of select championships; producing championship programs and other printed materials; assisting with league’s awards and recognition programs; overseeing conference’s Hall of Fame and Awards Banquet and corresponding committee; managing media interns; promoting and supporting diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives; and other duties assigned by the Commissioner.

Required Qualifications
A Bachelor’s Degree, at least two years of progressive work in collegiate athletics and a valid driver’s license. Strong communication, public speaking, and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail with strong organizational skills. Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office, a website content management system, applications within Adobe Creative Suite and Stat Crew/Genius Sports.
Preferred Qualifications
A Master’s Degree and at least five years of progressive work in collegiate athletics. Experience in event administration, working with coaches, photography and video capture experience as well as video-editing software.
