Iowa Western Community College in Council Bluffs, IA is seeking a motivated and inspiring Athletic Director. This individual will plan, organize, coordinate, and manage all aspects of intercollegiate athletics on campus. Reporting to the College President, the Director will be responsible for managing schedules, staff, budgets, public relations, and the keeping of all records necessary for eligibility. This position is also the manager of facilities and equipment as both are part of the program. The Director is the institutional representative to the NJCAA, Region XI, and ICCAC. Required Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Physical Education, Athletic Management/Administration, Recreation or equivalent required. Minimum of five years of athletic administration at the junior college level and in junior college athletic programs required. Preferred Qualifications: Minimum of five years of athletic administration at the collegiate level and Master’s Degree in Athletic Administration preferred.
