Endicott's Athletics’ Department is seeking a Graduate Assistant for Sports Information to execute social media campaigns to strengthen the marketing and promotion efforts for our department and athletics programs. The intercollegiate athletic program at Endicott is an integral part of the total educational experience and student activities at the institution. The College wishes to excel in athletics, just as it desires to excel in all activities and functions conducted in its name. If you are interested in mastering skills in the areas of StatCrew, in-game statistics, analytics, and graphic/website design this is the role for you!
Responsibilities: Assist the Sports Information Director in the promotion and coverage of the academic, athletic, and social successes of Endicott College student-athletes, both past and present; Be the primary contact for six NCAA Division III varsity sports including men’s and women’s basketball, field hockey, women’s lacrosse, men’s soccer, and softball; Conduct all aspects of pre-game, in-game, and post-game coverage for assigned home contests; Actively contribute professional content to the Endicott Athletics and Recreation website (www.ECGulls.com) according to the standards set by the sports information office; Represent the College in a positive manner on Endicott’s various social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube, and your own personal social media accounts; Maintain and update accurate historical records; Write and submit copy to the publication’s office needed to print sport guides, admissions literature, academic catalogue updates, and other publications as deemed necessary by the College; Assist in the training and supervising of student workers; Be available for games/ride fan buses during championship events.

Benefits: Aug - May contract for two years as stated in the Employee Handbook for part-time, exempt, administration employees. Package includes stipend paid over 21 pay periods, room, board, meal plan and tuition remission. Class fees are not included.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from accredited four-year college; proven successful experience with writing and covering sports, a desire to pursue college athletics as a career; experience with Stat Crew required; experience with InDesign, Photoshop, and video editing software is preferred. acceptance into Endicott College School of Graduate & Professional Studies.
