Central Washington University is accepting applications for the Sport Equipment and Game Operations Manager. This position manages the operation and maintenance of the athletic department equipment and apparel. The manager’s responsibilities include overseeing and coordinating the operations of the athletics equipment room, laundry services, and NCAA game day events. This position will supervise student workers and will report to the Deputy Director of Athletics. Job Duties include, but are not limited to: •Supervise daily operations of the equipment and apparel for the entire athletic department. Implement comprehensive system for inventory of equipment and apparel to include checkout and check-in procedures, daily logs, identification and control of all athletic equipment.
•Maintain all necessary records and information regarding invoices and packing slips of new equipment and apparel purchases. Maintain security of equipment and supplies, complete reports. Perform preventative maintenance on all athletic equipment.
•Provide and set up athletic equipment for athletic competitions making sure that the set-up is correct by NCAA athletic event rules.
•Hire, train, review and schedule the work of students providing support for various activities and programs offered through Athletics.
•Determine annual activity and laundry room needs, assist coaches review sport specific equipment and apparel needs; assist in gathering information to support budget requests.
•Work with Deputy Director of Athletics to provide game day support with regard to game set-up, security, visiting team & officials operations, and game take-down.

Additional Salary Information: Periodic increases up to $3,535/month.
