The University of New Mexico Athletics departmentis seeking an assistant director of athletics creative services and graphicdesign to join our team. This individualwill be a key part of the creative services team, and will be the lead graphicdesigner for the department.
The primary duty will be to act as the lead graphic designer for the UNM Athletic Department.
This would include but is not limited to the creation of promotional posters, digital content for social media and golobos.com, templates other staff members can use to create their own content, sales and promotional materials, and other items.
Under the supervision of the Assistant AD for Creative Services, this person will lead graphic design efforts primarily for the UNM Athletics External team (marketing, communications, creative services) but also for the entire department as needed.
Help create the overall visual direction of the UNM Athletic Department while working within the University of New Mexico and UNM Athletics branding guidelines.Help ensure the UNM Athletics brand is strong, and its principals are adhered to.
Light video editing and video production work as a member of the creative services team.
Employees who provide services or work in patient care or clinical areas are required to be in compliance with the University's influenza vaccination requirement.

Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
Video editing and video production experience is a plus.
If no video production experience, a willingness to learn is crucial.
Experience with college athletics or professional sports related graphic design.
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse population of colleagues and constituents.
Motion graphics experience preferred but not required.
