Purpose of Position:
Daemen College is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Women's Soccer Graduate Assistant for the 2021-2022 academic year. Daemen is a member of the East Coast Conference (ECC). The selected applicant will receive a tuition waiver for up to 18 graduate credits for the 2021-2022 academic calendar year. The applicant will be responsible for the cost of any fees associated with the program. This position is renewable for the next academic year conditional upon satisfactory performance, availability of funds and adherence to all Daemen College academic requirements and employment protocols.
The Graduate Assistant will serve as the assistant to the Head Women's Soccer Coach The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting with daily practices and weight training sessions, assisting with the recruitment of student athletes, attending all games, team functions and tournaments, assisting with fundraising. As well as all other duties as designated by the Head Coach or Director of Athletics.
Qualified candidates should possess a bachelor's degree and be fully admitted into one of Daemen's graduate programs. Candidate should have playing experience at the NCAA Division I or II level. Required to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during the period of appointment.
