The Assistant Athletic Director for Student-Athlete Services is a member of the Department of Athletics senior staff. Collaborate with the Vice President for Athletics, and the senior athletics staff in the day-to-day operation, management, and administration of the department. Coordinate academic endeavors, faculty relations, and processes on behalf of the department and student-athletes. Assist in the implementation of the strategic plan and other University initiatives. The Assistant Athletic Director for Student Athlete Services assists with game and special event management as needed. The Assistant Athletic Director of Student-Athlete Services will also oversee the athlete peer educator programs as well as assisting with coordinating academic support for student-athletes.
This position is partially funded by the NCAA DII Strategic Alliance Matching Grant. Accordingly, the successful candidate must identify as an ethnic minority and/or a woman.
