Nyack College - a NCAA Division II institution located in Jersey City, NJ - member of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC). Nyack College is looking to hire a motivated individual for our men’s and women’s soccer teams for the 2021-22 academic year, beginning in July 2021, renewable for a second term the following academic year. The successful candidate must have a dedicated life of faith as a Christian, with the expectations of working in a Christian school environment, as well as a strong work ethic, enthusiasm and the goal of working in soccer coaching or a related field in the long term.
Participates and helps plan and lead practices as they relate to goalkeeper training. Helps with player strength and conditioning programs. Helps with game preparation and statistics, including scouting opponents. Aid the coaching staff in character development of the team Be eligible to drive vans to and from games and practices Recruiting, which includes: phone calls, texts, emails, off-campus evaluations Other duties as assigned by the head coach.
Undergraduate degree from an accredited institution of higher education.
Acceptance into a Nyack College graduate program and maintenance of a 3.0 GPA.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
A playing/coaching resume with essential soccer and goalkeeper experience
Strong organizational and time management skills.
The desire to develop the whole student-athlete: athletically, academically, socially and spiritually.
