Georgia Tech has an exciting entry-level opportunity assisting the Compliance Department within the Georgia Tech Athletic Association. The Athletics Compliance Assistant will provide support for the Georgia Tech Athletic Association (GTAA) Compliance Office in all aspects of the comprehensive compliance program for seventeen varsity sports, including rules education, monitoring, and enforcement.
Assist with the following:
Coordination of precertification process to evaluate initial eligibility, amateurism, and admission status for prospective student-athletes.
Execution of recruiting monitoring systems.
Collection and reconciliation of playing & practice season, countable athletically related activity, and time management plan information.
Rules education presentations and creation of rules education materials.
Gameday activities (e.g. complimentary tickets).
Data entry in compliance software for recruiting, eligibility, and financial aid.
Publish compliance-related newsletters and other educational materials.
Other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree and/or related compliance experience preferred.
Must have a strong work ethic, be detail-oriented, and possess effective communication skills (written and verbal).
Must have a working knowledge of basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat), Knowledge of compliance-related software (e.g., Compliance Assistant, FrontRush, etc.) is advantageous.
Must be able to work independently and collaboratively, manage multiple tasks and projects, and work some evenings and weekends.
