The Director of Ticket Operations will manage the day-to-day operations of the Athletics Ticket Office. The individual will be fully responsible for all aspects of Men’s Basketball ticket operations (i.e., season ticket renewals, sales, home and away game operations, postseason, etc.) and assisting with Football ticket operations. Other responsibilities will include but are not limited to managerial oversight of Olympic sports ticket operations to be determined, game day event staff, and student employees. The Director will serve as the liaison to Alco Parking Corporation and JMI Sports as it relates to ticketing and parking needs. The individual will also serve as the primary contact with ticket stock designers and printers. The individual will manage the Paciolan ticketing system and generate sales, revenue, and inventory reports. The Director will be required to develop and implement new initiatives to increase ticket sales and other revenue streams. The individual will be required to travel with teams when needed. The Director will report to the Assistant Athletic Director for Ticket Sales and Operations. The individual must provide excellent customer service to all internal and external customers, including but not limited to donors, season ticket holders, and fans. The individual must be extremely organized, detail-oriented, efficient, and have the ability to exercise independent judgment consistently.
Three years of experience in a ticket office environment strongly preferred. Experience managing priority seating and Paciolan computer software preferred. Master’s degree strongly preferred. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted as determined by the University.
