The Baylor Bears are seeking a lead videographer/editor for select sport programs who will assist interdepartmental teams within the athletic department with video requests. This position will be titled as either Assistant or Associate Director of Video Productions and will also lead creative concepts for select sport programs. Additionally, the person selected for this position will work with the Athletic Communications and Fan Engagement teams to help visually develop a creative strategy that will enhance each sport programs brand as well as work closely in collaboration with other departments to ensure the Baylor brand is consistent across all mediums and social platforms.
A Bachelor's degree, less than one year of relevant experience, and a Christian faith are required. Three years of relevant work experience are preferred. Baylor reserves the might to make the final determination of whether this position will be filled at the Assistant Director or Associate Director level.
What You Will Do
Shooting: Serve as the lead videographer for select sport programs. Shoot creative video at games, practices and special events. Assist with photography for games and practices as needed.
Editing: Serve as the lead video editor for select sport programs for distribution on varying mediums and social platforms. Ensure proper color grading occurs to keep videos on brand.
Motion Graphics: Conceptualize and develop motion graphics for social media and in-game gifs for select sport programs.
Communication. Maintain communication with student workforce, coaches and administration relative to creative content.
Compliance: Maintain working knowledge of and adherence to all NCAA, Big 12 Conference, and institution rules and regulations and communicate immediately any possible infractions of such rules and regulations to the Athletics Compliance staff.
Other duties as assigned.
