As a Jackrabbit Technologies’ Strategic Product Analyst for the childcare market, you will harness your passion for engaging with people and learning about what they do to drive client, prospect and market feedback and insights for the product team at all phases of the product lifecycle. You will leverage this intelligence to make product direction and prioritization recommendations, calculate ROI for new features and determine rollout and go to market strategies. You will become the subject matter expert and align the product with customer and market needs and innovation. Specifically, you will:
Develop and engage market and client feedback
Partner with the Product Manager to drive customer interactions, developing new, creative ways to reach clients, prospects and industry thought-leaders to discuss and understand ideas, problems and workflows.
Leverage user relationships to create, facilitate and manage client panels willing to give feedback at all phases of the product lifecycle, and those willing to participate in UAT, Alpha and Beta testing. Track feedback in a way that can be leveraged by the team and use it to make recommendations for additional features or refinements to existing features.
Demonstrate early product designs, proofs of concept and working software to clients to get feedback, understand gaps and determine which refinements are needed.
Research and analyze competitive and regulatory landscape
Research and understand all aspects of the market and competitive landscape to be used as a key input for the Product Manager. Capture the information in an easily searchable format that can be consumed across the organization, and leverage it to identify opportunities to maximize revenue, minimize churn, ensure market leadership and innovate.
Become Subject Matter Expert of the childcare regulatory market, understanding and documenting requirements by state,and make recommendations based on geographic and scale of needs.
Leverage SME data and trends to deliver high value and innovative features
Translate trends, needs and problems into Business Cases with a defined ROI or Cost Benefit analysis to help the Product Manager make informed prioritization and differentiation decisions.
Leverage data to analyze metrics that inform the success and opportunities for our products.
Uncover and leverage data to better understand and define market segments and buyer/user personas to identify the right clients to provide feedback and continuously refine our target markets.
Work with internal teams on Go-to-Market Strategy and Rollout
Define product positioning for new features with a benefits-driven approach, partnering with Marketing to ensure a consistent and accurate product marketing strategy and leveraging the client panel to test messaging and positioning.
Help drive Go-to-Market and rollout strategy, partnering with other teams to strategize on needs, approach and execution.
Collaborate with Product Analysts, Designers, Developers and QA to ideate, develop, and deploy innovative and high-value product solutions for clients with an emphasis on throughput, usability, quality, and predictability.

As a member of the product team, you will collaborate with others to deliver high-impact user experiences. In addition, you have:
Experience working directly with clients, prospects and industry thought leaders, within a technology product management team and/or technology sales and marketing team, to forge relationships, become an expert in your market, understand complex problems and workflows
Experience in competitive research, digging deep to understand competitor capabilities, strengths and weaknesses, with proven ways to capture, synthesize, leverage and communicate this information.
Experience driving UAT, Alpha, Beta, User Experience, Usability testing from the user perspective, desired, with proven ways to capture, synthesize, leverage and communicate this information.
Experience defining the Go-to-Market strategy, bringing new products to market, with focus on rollout strategy, product positioning and managing client panels to solicit feedback
Experience defining ROI for proposed features, writing business cases for executive level buy-in, compiling and analyzing cost/benefits, user impact and quantifying tradeoffs for proposed features.
2+ years working on greenfield product team desired.
2+ years experience with Agile Scrum desired
2+ years experience in the childcare market desired
Prefer someone with experience in defining Jobs to be Done and implementing findings
Knowledge of User experience (UX) or User-centered design (UCD)
4-year degree required or equivalent work experience
Self-starter with ability to work across organizational boundaries to get things done.
Proficiency in data analysis and identifying and applying meaningful metrics.
Excellent English communication skills (verbal, written, presentation).
Ability to multitask, balance multiple priorities, and perform well under pressure.
Ability to travel up to 10% (Charlotte-based)/25% (non-Charlotte-based), some weekend travel required for trade shows or conferences.
