As a member of the Notre Dame Athletics team, the Program Director, Premium Experiences, is primarily responsible for managing all premium hospitality and club spaces coordinated by the Athletic Department in addition to serving as the main point of contact with internal and external customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing and elevating the game day experience for members and their guests in premium hospitality spaces including a large community club (Seven on 9), multiple private corporate boxes and an exclusive member club (Foley's) in Notre Dame Stadium. In addition, this position will direct existing premium hospitality space in Club Namoli in Purcell Pavilion (Men's and Women's Basketball) and O'Brien's in the Compton Family Ice Arena (Hockey). We are seeking an experienced team member with a positive, results-oriented approach who can communicate clearly across all platforms and work diligently to initiate and carryout first-class hospitality experiences.
This position will be a key decision maker and work with a variety of internal and external partners to fulfill and execute Notre Dame Athletics' vision for premium experiences while meeting the needs of customers.
Collaborate with department leadership to establish annual sales goals.
In conjunction with internal and external teams, assist and support the creation and implementation of marketing campaigns to meet the financial goals for the athletic department.
This position will play an important role in customer retention by providing superior service, communicating frequently and building relationships with members and account holders.
Work closely with the University's concessionaire to ensure a quality food and beverage strategy and exemplary service strategies.
Serve as the primary liaison with the Athletics' premium sales and hospitality teams, ticketing team, development office and commercial rights partner.
Assist in servicing corporate accounts during the sales and retention process.
Support the Hospitality Sales Executives throughout the cultivation and sales process.
Produce and execute annual payment invoicing and collections and work diligently toward a 100% retention rate each year.
Deliver regular touchpoints to members and corporate clients via email, phone or written correspondence to ensure a quality year-round experience.
Provide prompt and professional communication to members, corporate clients and internal staff.
Maintain accounts, contracts and notes in CRM/Salesforce.
Uphold positive relationships and customer confidentiality.
Assist in the creation and coordination of new products, hospitality spaces and special events to aid in all sales initiatives (e.g. sales events, influencer events, deposit list conversions, out of market sales trips, etc.)
Provide support for and inbound service related calls from members and prospects.
Minimum Qualifications: · Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent· 5+ years of prior experience in sports sales/service/hospitality industry or equivalent experience is required· Candidate should possess strong team-oriented work ethic and a positive, “Service First” attitude· Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels both internally and externally· Candidate should possess excellent time management and organizational skills· Ability to prioritize and meet competing deadlines independently · Available to work flexible hours and game days (including nights, weekends and holidays)· Highly adaptable to changes, work effectively under pressure and produce results in a fast-paced environment
