To provide marketing and promotional support to assigned sports, and to engage the community to build interest and brand awareness. To coordinate Athletics marketing efforts with campus entities and to assist with group sales efforts for Athletics events. To adhere to all institution, conference, and National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) rules and regulations. To report all known NCAA violations in accordance with institutional, conference, and NCAA policies and guidelines.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
*Serves as primary fan engagement and marketing support contact for assigned sports
*Coordinates Athletics marketing efforts with campus partners
*Coordinates community engagement events to build interest in UAB Athletics
*Assists with Athletics digital marketing and sales efforts
*Assists with Athletics group sales efforts
*Assists with servicing groups and premium opportunities
*Performs other duties as assigned
Bachelor's degree in a related field and one (1) year of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
