Working - Title: Director of Ticket Sales & Operations
Position Grade: 12
Under general direction,the Director of Ticket Sales and Operations assists in planning, organizing andcontrolling the operations of UNM - Athletic Ticket Office. Supervises employeeson a daily basis. Reports to the - Assistant AD of Ticket Sales and Operations.
Duties and - responsibilities:
Manages the day-to-day operations of the ticket sales and operations - unit.
Direct oversight of Men's Basketball ticket sales and operations with - additional sports/events to be assigned.
Provides customer service to all constituents, through in-bound calls, - out-bound calls, emails, and day of game sales.
Supervises, trains and schedules part-time and student workers.
Trains staff in customer service, ticketing system, balancing ticket sales, - phone sales and various clerical duties
Assists in the management and maintenance of ticketing system (Paciolan) and - other partners.
Assists with the season ticket renewal process for all ticketed events.
Builds season, events and individual games utilizing Paciolan ticketing - software.
Recommends new or revised department policies and procedures; coordinates - and implements improved changes in policies and procedures affecting the Ticket - Office; assists in updating policy and procedure manual.
Assists with customer service special needs or difficult work activities of - students and part-time staff or other staff members; evaluates and resolves - problems presented by Ticket Office staff.
Applies functional knowledge to analyze and respond to matters requiring - comprehensive knowledge of policies and department procedures; authorizes - exceptions to policies within defined limits.
Assists in setting prices for various activities and events.
Verifies hours of part-time employees (e.g., students, ancillaries, - temporary employees) and approves for biweekly payroll preparation.
Recommends organizational adjustments to efficiently and effectively - accomplish assigned objectives for Ticket Office operation.
Interacts with departmental business office, development, - marketing/promotions, sponsorships, and event management to accomplish ticket - operation objectives.
Assists in ensuring reliability and accuracy of ticketing database.
Other duties as assigned by the Assistant AD of Ticket Sales and - Operations.
Supervises 10-20 student and part-time staff members
If this position is assigned to the Athletics Department, either - administratively or functionally, compliance with all NCAA rules and regulations - is required.
