Manages and oversees communications and media relations for the athletics department.
1.Writes and disseminates news releases, feature stories, and biographical information.
2.Creates graphics, video, and messaging for social media posts.
3.Designs and edits game day programs and other athletics department publications; oversees production.
4.Assists with publishing and developing athletics department website.
5.Provides game day coverage for statistics, post-game recaps, pre-game advances, live statistical reporting; coordinates interviews for post-game, pre-game, and during practices.
6.Assigns and assists with video and webcasts of home games.
7.Manages press box and press accommodations.
8.Leads marketing and recruiting projects for assigned sports, which includes web and social media content.
9.Compiles and archives statistics, records, photography, and other related information; nominates student-athletes, coaches and teams for local, regional, and national awards.
10.Assists with game day operations and video productions, as needed.
11.Assists with scheduling and supervising student interns and graduate assistants.
12.Attends all home contests and events, and assists with administrative duties as assigned.
13.Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
