Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics, a Division I and Big Ten Conference member, is seeking a dynamic creative professional to to be the Creative Designer for Penn State Football. This position reports to the Assistant Athletic Director for Creative Services and Brand Management
Producing high-level designs that elevate the brand's profile as well as that of its student-athletes
Developing, maintaining, and advancing the brand's identity through original and creative design concepts for a variety of digital and printed materials including, but not limited to: social media graphics, posters, signage and large-scale facility graphics, website and e-mail graphics, paid media collateral, motion graphics, logos and varied promotional materials
Expediting, organizing and tracking a large and varying workflow involving multiple deadlines
Archiving and organizing files, projects and art to fulfill quick-turnaround requests
Assisting in creative direction of photo shoots as well as capture some photography
Supervising part-time and student employees
Qualifications and Skills:
Typically requires an Associate's Degree or higher plus two years of related experience
Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
Experience in After Effects preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong editing skills
Requires night and weekend work, including working home, away and postseason football games and special events.
This position will require successful completion of standard background checks.
