The Quality Assurance Specialist is a key contributor to Drug Free Sport International/International Doping Tests & Management (DFSI-IDTM) purpose of ensuring fairness in sport and health and safety for athletes with a passion to provide high level of service and commitment demonstrated through the auditing and evaluation of drug-testing collection operations and administration. The Quality Assurance Specialist supports the ISO 9001 2015 certification process and other processes that monitor, measure and evaluate operational, employee and independent contractor processes to achieve any mission, anytime, anywhere. Contributions also include up to 85 percent travel domestically and internationally to conduct internal and external audits.

The person in this role must have the minimum education level of a bachelor’s degree in business, quality control/assurance or related field. This position requires the willingness and ability to travel including weekends and upon short- or same-day notice. Passing a pre-employment screening, including background check, drug test, transcript verification, and confidentiality agreement, is also a requirement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide excellent service and maintain strong, positive working relationships and communication with DFSI-IDTM client, colleagues, independent contractors, laboratories, consultants and other professional organizations.
Understand and apply quality principles to daily responsibilities; collaborate with others on quality objectives; and address nonconformities as appropriate through the Quality Management System (QMS).
Assist with the development and management of the industry leading DFSI-IDTM Quality Management System.
Record and analyze raw data to identify trends and assess root causes.
Solicit and manage performance feedback; assist with investigating issues and addressing concerns.
Assess and maintain client evaluation entries.
Plan, prepare, and coordinate internal and external audits.
Record and report findings from audits and evaluations.
Work closely with department leaders to include but not limited to:
Extend quality concerns and findings throughout all client bases.
Recommend improvements or changes and oversee implementation of action items in collaboration with other DFSI-IDTM team members.
Maintain and update quality assurance files; and review files from other DFSI-IDTM departments to ensure that documentation meets established required standards.
Team with operational departments to accurately develop, periodically review and revise policies, procedures, and workflows as necessary.
Collaborate with the management of a document control system, and creation, modification, approval, and release of control documentation.
Collaborate with DFSI-IDTM staff on special projects and other tasks as necessary.
Assist with quality training initiatives for employees and independent contractors.
