Serves as the primary game day marketing contact responsible for all facets of the “Run of Show” on game-day activities for Football, Men’s Basketball, Baseball, and other assigned sports which may include Volleyball. Duties include: confirming and securing groups for opening or other special recognitions, vendors, third party vendors, announcers, acts, etc. as it relates to each specific game.
Directs development and implementation of marketing plans for assigned sport programs. Has some discretion as it comes to designing graphics when required quickly.
Direct oversight of 10-20 student interns a year. Oversees hiring and monitoring of the intern/student team each year. Manages planning, and execution of external related events for Football and Men’s Basketball such as “Friday Night Lights”, Memphis Madness, Fan Fest, Frosh Frenzy or other related events in collaboration with appropriate offices. Direct oversight of the kids club, Pouncer’s Pals. Assists with “The Ambush” Student Section and Blue Crew, as well as works to cultivate new partnerships with other student or related groups on campus.
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two years related experience, or a Master’s degree and one year of related experience.
