OUR IMPACT The Global Markets Division enables our clients to buy and sell financial products, raise funding and manage risk. We make markets and facilitate client transactions in fixed income, equity, currency and commodity products. In addition, we make markets in and clear client transactions on major stock, options and futures exchanges worldwide. Through our global sales force, we maintain relationships with our clients, receiving orders and distributing investment research, trading ideas, market information and analysis. RESPONSIBILITIES & KEY QUALITIES
Drive product development for internalization, smart order routing, and algos across the Asia Pacific GSET business.
Tabulate "user stories" and client requirements through coordination with sales, coverage, and clients
Write, update, and maintain the functional specification of our electronic trading products.
Coordinate with research, engineering, coverage, and control functions to own product delivery timelines from project initiation to client delivery, ensuring the build complies with the relevant functional specification.
Work with ECS to analyze execution quality and product performance, identify outliers, and modify product behavior to remediate.
Create product content pieces and training materials, coordinate with sales to distribute to clients.
Track and prioritize feature requests and bug reports.
Work with global product owners to ensure consistency of offering and ensure Asia client requirements are reflected.
Engage clients, industry peers, vendors, regulators, and exchanges via working groups and conferences to stay abreast of changing market dynamics.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR
5-10 years of relevant working experience in the industry
Knowledge of equities electronic trading products, including algos, smart order routers, and internalizers.
A good understanding of markets, strong fundamental knowledge and interest in finance
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, strong work ethic
A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Commercial focus, Team Player, self-motivated
Relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification with an excellent academic record
