The University of Mississippi seeks an Associate General Counsel to work on athletics-related legal matters for the Ole Miss Athletics Department. The position works on a daily basis with the Ole Miss Athletics leadership team. The duties of the position include preparing and reviewing business and employment contracts, advising on personnel and student-athlete issues, advising on compliance issues, and responding to public records requests. The position reports to the university’s general counsel but is located in the athletics administration building. This position performs duties in representing the legal interests of the University by providing legal support and guidance to University Senior leadership, staff, and faculty on all aspects of the University’s operations.
