Provide exceptional service to the Association within academic and membership affairs. Duties will include, but are not limited to, supporting the Division I governance structure, serving as team lead for the academic and membership affairs technology team and serving as a member of the Division I Bylaw Team with a focus on Bylaws 11, 13 and 17. Other duties may be assigned based on the candidate’s qualifications and interests.
Five years of full-time professional experience (excluding internship, graduate assistantship or clerkships) in intercollegiate athletics and/or higher education administration.
Understanding of, and interest in, the Division I governance process and structure, required.
Experience with NCAA legislation, interpretations and waivers preferred.
This position will require up to 20% travel.
This position will be based in Indianapolis.
All national office staff are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment. As a new hire, you will be required to be fully vaccinated within 8 weeks from acceptance of offer and you will be required to show proof of that vaccination. National office staff (including new hires) who are not fully vaccinated, will be required to undergo weekly PCR testing until fully vaccinated.
