Job Summary/Basic Function:
Associate Director of Athletics Compliance

This is a full¬time, twelve¬month position, which reports directly to the Associate Athletics Director.

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, four-year college or university (candidate must submit proof of degree earned through the application system).
2. Experience in an NCAA athletics compliance office, conference office, or at the NCAA national office.

6. Possess an attitude that fosters a respectful, non-threatening workplace environment.
7. Ability to accept a flexible work schedule that includes nights and weekends.
8. Work effectively with a variety of individuals and organizations.
9. Demonstrate an extreme attention to detail.
10. Must be able to organize tasks and set priorities.
11. Must have total commitment to the adherence of NCAA, Big Sky Conference, and institutional regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Juris doctor or master’s degree in a related field
2. Experience in a NCAA Division I or II institutional compliance office or conference office/related experience at the NCAA national office (e.g. Academic & Membership Affairs, Enforcement).
3. Experience as a NCAA student-athlete or coach.
4. Experience with job-related software such as JumpForward, Banner, and NCAA web applications (e.g. Compliance Assistant, LSDBi, Eligibility Center).

The annual salary for this position starts at $35,600 and may go up from there depending on candidate qualifications. The position comes with a generous benefits package.

Physical Requirements of this position: Light work. Exerting up to 20 lbs of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs of force frequently and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Use of arm and/or leg controls exerting forces greater than that for sedentary work.

Visual Acuity Requirements including color, depth perception and field of vision: Required to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; using a computer terminal; extensive reading., Required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment.

The conditions the worker will be subject to in this position: None. The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions (such as in typical office or administrative work).
