Assist the Head Coach & Director of Athletics with managing and supervising various administrative, recruiting, and fundraising operations of the football program. Provide leadership, support, and input regarding the visions and direction of the football program.
Responsibilities & Duties: Recruiting Coordinate and oversee the recruitment cycle for prospective student-athletes (i.e. high school, junior college, transfer portal, etc.) Prepare and distribute recruiting information/correspondence Coordinate phone contact with prospective student-athletes if/when appropriate. Provide leadership, detailing planning, communication and coordination in support of all on-and-off campus visits with prospective student-athletes and families, including but not limited to: coordination with MSU Representatives on on-campus tours and gameday schedules. Create weekly recruiting schedules for communication between recruits and coaches
Day-to-Day Football Operations Serve in a liaison role – at the direction of the Head Coach and Director of Athletics – in support of 2-3 key support elements such as: on-and/or-off campus housing, compliance, budget, communications/public relations, community service, etc.
Special Event Management Plan on-campus recruiting visits and/or gamedays for prospective student-athletes and their families Plan and coordinate annual fundraising events for football including bit not limited to: football gameday hospitality, 50-yard line dinner, Women’s Clinic/Ladies Night Out, International Student Clinic, Annual Football Banquet/Auction, etc. Communicate with athletic/football donors regarding enhanced philanthropic and financial support of the football program
Player/Personnel Development Assist Head Coach and Director of Athletics implementing whole person development program including but not limited to: Captains/Emerging Leaders, Leadership Training, Life Skills, Community Service, etc.
Miscellaneous Graphic Design/Development – Create graphics, videos, and social media content. Serve as one of a few key communicators with Racer Football Alumni Collaborate with Director of Athletics on strategic initiatives in support of program growth and development
Other Duties Be knowledgeable of NCAA and OVC/MVC rules Other duties as assigned.
As a member of the Murray State University Athletic Department, you shall comply with all applicable NCAA rules and regulations as provided in the NCAA Division I Manual. If you are found in violation of NCAA regulations, you shall be subject to disciplinary or corrective action as set forth in the provisions of the NCAA enforcement procedures, including suspension without pay or termination of employment for significant or repetitive violations.

Minimum Experience and Skill Requirements
One year of direct and/or relatable experience.
Familiarity and experience with various aspects of day-to-day operations of the football office, including but not limited to: coordinate on-and-off campus recruiting, campus outreach, student mentoring/development, special event management, fundraising/donor development, graphic design, etc.
Some non-traditional working hours including night, weekends, and holidays. Consistent on-call availability during non-traditional working hours, to assist Head Football Coach & Director of Athletics in a wide range of duties/responsibilities pertaining to program affairs and student-athlete well-being.
