TCU Athletics, a proud member of the Big 12 Conference, is seeking qualified applicants for a Video Graduate Assistant position. Responsibilities and opportunities may include, but are not limited to: filming, editing and producing video content for TCU Athletics on social media and in-venue video boards; working in-venue video board production; and assisting and/or managing studio video shoots.
Applicants should have completed a bachelor’s degree in communications, film, multimedia, journalism or a similar field of study and a minimum of one year of video editing and production experience, preferably in sports/college athletics. Applicants should demonstrate the following qualities: self-motivation, positive attitude, and strong work ethic. Must be available to work daily office hours and events on nights and weekends as needed. Position requires occasional travel. This is a two-year assistantship.
Applicants should have a strong understanding of the Adobe Creative Suite and must submit a portfolio of their recent work along with at least two professional references.
Applicants selected for the position must be admitted into or in the process of applying for TCU Graduate Program. Assistants must be enrolled in a minimum of six graduate school hours in the fall and spring semesters with the expectation of graduating in two years. Compensation includes full tuition, online course fees, books and a monthly stipend.
Strong understanding of Adobe Creative Suite. Experience filming, editing, and producing video content. Experience operating video boards preferred.
