Saint Louis University Athletics Title: Graduate Assistant Ticket Manager Reports to: Assistant Director of Athletics – Ticketing Position description: The Graduate Assistant Ticket Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with season ticket holders, mini-plan and individual game buyers and all SLU Athletics constituents. Emphasis will be placed on ticket holders receiving personal, prompt and courteous service to maximize client loyalty and retention. Applicants should be able to work fall ticketed sporting events (Men’s Soccer, Women’s Soccer, and Volleyball) and winter ticketed sports (Men’s & Women’s Basketball). Applicants must have a desire to learn and grow both personally and professionally. The Saint Louis University Ticket Office will provide hands-on learning to future professionals and will provide constant feedback and growth opportunities. The Graduate Assistant Ticket Manager will have the chance to work with SLU Athletics professionals in a number of different fields and can learn various aspects of athletics management. Primary duties include, but are not limited to: ? Provide superior level of customer service to ensure a positive experience for all our patrons ? Gameday event management responsibilities include oversight of staffing, the pass list table, ticket sales and/or season ticket holder window at SLU ticketed events ? Field in-bound calls and emails for ticket sales and customer service inquiries ? Assists in the promotion, sales and distribution of season tickets, groups, partial plans and single game tickets ? Lead the interviewing, hiring and training of student workers on an as needed basis ? Manage the complimentary staff and donation ticket requests including fulfillment and documentation ? Financial and operational duties include payment processing, financial reconciliation, ticket inventory management, invoicing and mailing fulfilment ? Work additional Athletic events as needed An applicant’s attributes & skills should include: Length of Employment: Annual appointment with option to renew until completion of graduate degree program.
