The Creative Content Graduate Assistant for the University of Northern Colorado will develop visual assets to support and enhance organizational branding, promotion and sales campaigns through collaboration with the Strategic Communications, Marketing, and Bear Vision units.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite with demonstrated understanding of design principles.
Ability to take complex ideas and present them in a manner that is easy to consume and share.
Ability to accept and incorporate feedback to improve designs and adapt to changing priorities.
Produce high volumes of graphics on deadline while maintaining strong product quality and consistency.
Perform detailed work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Demonstrate experience designing for social media platforms.
Experience collaborating effectively with a team and working cross-functionally to achieve department goals.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required, including the ability to clearly communicate project goals to stakeholders and team members.
Preferred candidates should: be self-motivated with a passion for innovation and the drive to take initiative; have knowledge of best practices regarding consumer-related products (marketing collateral, digital signage, etc.); be willing to help the team when needed.
Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays as requested.
Must be a Colorado Resident or qualify for the WUE tuition.
Experience in motion graphics and video is preferred.
