SEMO Athletics is seeking a graduate assistant to assist in the day-to-day operations of the Athletics Compliance Office during the 2022-23 academic year.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Assistant AD for Compliance and Eligibility, the Graduate Assistant for Compliance’s primary responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Monitor student-athlete eligibility,
Assist in the documentation and monitoring of coaches’ recruiting,
Monitor recruiting visits, ticket requests, phone logs, and contacts/evaluation logs,
Help research and compile materials for rules education,
Maintain student-athlete files and ensure all required NCAA and OVC documentation are up to date,
File and organize paperwork to help in eligibility certification of student-athletes,
Assist with the policies and procedures of SEMO Athletics, and
Additional duties/projects as assigned by the Athletic Department
Admittance into a SEMO graduate program
Previous experience in intercollegiate athletics (student-athlete, intern, student worker, etc.)
Knowledge and experience with NCAA Division I rules and regulations,
Highly organized and detail-oriented,
Excellent written and oral communication skills, and
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
