Duties and Responsibilities: • Assist with the preparation and implementation of annual marketing plans focusing on increasing attendance with enhancing the game day experience. • Assist with the fulfillment of in-game promotions, sponsorship elements, presentations and entertainment. • Assisting with ticket operations on developing leads to generate ticket revenue. • Developing game day scripts for selected sports. • Work all assigned athletics events. • Assist with the distribution of marketing collateral to assigned locations. • Attending weekly scheduled marketing meetings and other assigned meetings. • Conduct research to be implemented into future marketing plans. • Office duties such as, filing, phones, e-mail, inventory or organization. • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree and interest in marketing, public relations, sales, event planning and sports.
• Must have at least 1 year of marketing experience, including undergraduate internships, preferably in a
collegiate athletics environment
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral, in order to create and present marketing
plans, promotional materials, proposals and advertising.
• Ability to interpret and review manuals, game reports, marketing plans and proposals.
• Skill in interacting with students and members of the community and building relationships with area
businesses, the community and student body.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Services – Photoshop and InDesign Preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office and internet social networking sites.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends.
