Our Sales Consultants will develop and maintain relationships with customers in education, health care, government, architecture firms or wholesalers, and other commercial markets to influence Allegion market share for commercial hardware and electronic security solutions to meet organizational goals. Opportunities exist in the Greater Austin and Dallas, Texas territory.
What You Will Do:
Develop and maintain relationships with targeted customers and clients to achieve annual goals.
Responsible for relationships with architecture firms project managers on specific projects.
Manage the sales process through effective CRM management and team communication.
Advise customers on products and applications. Suggest new products to achieve customer-specific needs.
Maintain a strategic understanding of market conditions and be able to adapt to maintain a competitive advantage.
Collaborate closely with the local project sales team on specification projects and market meetings.
Maintain excellent industry/competitor product knowledge by reviewing and understanding market data of competitive activity. Adapt to change in marketplace.
Maintain awareness of all Allegion policies, guidelines, and procedures and ensure compliance.
Responsible for developing a growth strategy with core/existing firms, resulting in AOP growth over prior year(s)
What You Will Need to Succeed:
High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
5+ years sales experience, industry experience preferred
Ability to travel up to 20% within the territory, limited overnight travel
Knowledge of mechanical and electronic solutions, including options spanning from mechanical access/egress control to total facility integration
Basic understanding of security systems integrations and electronic components
Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as project management skills
Demonstrated experience influencing others with a bias for action
Strong customer focus
