Rehab Medical is seeking a Sales Manager for our Chicago market to help us continue our growth and commitment to excellence.
Summary The Sales Manager, under the direct supervision of the Director of Sales, shall have responsibility for leading and monitoring the effectiveness of sales staff in a multi city or state region.
Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
Ensures sales staff makes effective sales calls, builds relationships with existing patients and referral sources, and constantly seeks out new prospects
Supervises and manages sales staff; ensuring a high level of patient satisfaction is maintained
Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals
Meets with key referral sources, assisting sales reps with maintaining relationships
Analyzes and controls expenditures of sales reps to conform to budgetary requirements
Utilizes CRM and other company designed metrics to meet company standards and goals
Reviews and analyzes sales performance against company goals and industry trends
Acts a subject matter expert on product lines and insurance regulations for sales staff; physicians and patients
Ensures that department and individual goals based on company objectives are met
Monitors effectiveness and compliance of sales staff with up-to-date reporting from sales representatives regarding sales calls, prospecting, revenue, and competitor files
Responsible for region’s recruitment, training and performance management

In depth knowledge and experience working in Durable Medical Equipment industry
In depth knowledge and proficiency in comprehension of complex medical conditions
Be able to quickly grasp insurance qualifications in accordance with insurance regulations
Mastery of sales and relationship building techniques
Ability to lead, motivate and manage staff
Ability to perform in depth analysis of sales data
Consensus building skills
Intermediate computer skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently, be detail oriented and organized
Ability to meet multiple competing deadlines
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree required
ATP certification required
Minimum 10 years sales and management experience combined.
