The client is seeking an effective regional sales manager to profitably grow revenue. The candidate will accomplish this by creating brand awareness, listening to client needs, selling NAN differentiators, and converting leads and non-ordering users into actively ordering customers. This individual must effectively sell the NAN’s full product offering to existing and prospective clients through a relationship-based sales approach using a customer-specific sales strategy. The role will grow and defend market share in highly competitive industry by gaining expert-level knowledge of our clients and collateral valuation products. This individual will deliver world-class customer experience from the start of the opportunity through the life of the partnership. The role will report to the Vice President of Sales.
Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers in assigned territory.
Penetrate existing accounts by building relationships with all relevant decision makers and users (entry level to C-level) in your assigned territory.
Routinely contact clients by phone, video messaging, videoconferencing, email and in-person visits.
Travel in assigned territory for face-to-face client interaction and business development.
Grow appraisal business at branch or regional level using client-specific sales strategies.
Prepare and deliver clear and effective business proposals and responses to information requests.
Present slide presentations and/or key performance statistics to demonstrate NAN performance excellence.
Facilitate new customer on-boarding process, including the coordination of on-boarding videoconference meetings.
Maintain ongoing role as point of contact to expedite resolution of customer problems and service issues.
Gather data and update customer contacts, customer communication, sales pipelines, and other sales details in Salesforce.
Communicate, interact, and develop strong rapport with Sales/Operations team members.
Share ideas/best practices for success, provide market intelligence with Sales team.
Stay current on appraisal industry regulatory compliance, market conditions, competitive activities, and industry technology applications.
Represent NAN through participation in trade shows, conventions and with industry trade groups.
Meet or exceed assigned sales goals.
Fluent knowledge of the mortgage and real estate appraisal industry.
3+ years of successful appraisal or mortgage industry sales experience.
Disciplined self-starter with strong sales acumen and the desire to win.
Ability to work independently with an accountable work ethic.
Excellent networking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to be assertive, persuasive, and service oriented, while acting with integrity and credibility.
Flexibility and willingness to embrace new processes, technology, concepts, and ideas.
Willingness to travel 25-50% of the time (mostly within your sales territory).
Proficiency with Salesforce (CRM), social media, appraisal management software and MS Office365 applications.
