The Director of Operations position is responsible for providing support to the overall operation of the Women’s Soccer program. This includes, but is not limited to, recruiting operations, travel, and overall programmatic structure. Duties and Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day operation of the Women’s Soccer office Responsible for coordinating liaison positions (i.e. strength & conditioning, sports medicine, equipment, communications, marketing, student services, compliance) Serve as Camp Director and oversee all aspects of youth camps and prospect camps Coordinate all aspects of recruiting visits, both unofficial and official Work closely with Head Coach, as well as the Athletic Business Office, to monitor purchases and maintain operating budgets Work closely with National Commodore Club (fundraising) and Black & Gold club (alumni) on initiatives to support the program Work with Student-Athlete Development office to arrange community service events and ensure teams are utilizing career development programming Oversee and direct all aspects of team travel itineraries Comply with NCAA and SEC rules and regulations Performs additional duties and special projects as assigned by the Head Coach Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree is necessary. Minimum two years prior experience in a Division I athletics department is necessary. Soccer knowledge not required, but is preferred. Great interpersonal skills is necessary. Organized, detail oriented and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision is necessary. Ability to work a non-standard work week including nights, weekends & holidays is necessary.
