Boise State Athletics invites interested applicants for the newly created position of Director of Operations, Volleyball. The individual in this position will be responsible for serving as the team’s technical coordinator and principal statistician, and will be responsible for coordinating all film, video and statistical analysis efforts in both practice and competition. Assist Head Coach in all aspects of program management with any and all matters that pertain to the day-to-day operations of the program.
Athletic Business Office liaison relating to program and/or coaching staff business
Coordinate practice times and any other needs of the opponent.
Organize all areas of multiple camps/clinics, including but not limited to, apparel purchase, day-to-day activities, facility rentals, etc.
Have a strong working knowledge and understanding of all NCAA rules and regulations regarding compliance issues.
Pass NCAA certification test (if required).
Serve as the team’s technical coordinator.
Coordinate all film, video and statistical analysis efforts in both practice and competition settings.
Principal statistician and heavily involved in scouting report creations and opponent scouting.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
Experience playing volleyball or working in a collegiate athletics setting.
Experience working with Data Volley coordinating film, video and statistical analysis.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge and understanding of all NCAA rules and regulations regarding compliance issues.
Must have sport specific coaching experience and/or playing experience and/or administrative experience.
Must have the ability to communicate well with prospective student-athletes, current student-athletes and staff, and maintain a high level of people skills.
