The University Athletic Association at the University of Florida is searching for an Assistant Athletics Director of Ticket Sales, Service & Retention to oversee all aspects of ticket sales, service and retention for the Ticket Office. Responsibilities include leading the ticket sales, service and retention team; increasing revenue through ticket sales for all ticketed sports; achieving sales goals tied to all seven ticketed sports; and using CRM to maintain accurate records and provide timely revenue updates. This position will be focused on ticket sales (including group tickets and premium areas) and training/motivating staff to cultivate relationships with season ticket holders. This posting will remain open until a qualified candidate is chosen.
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sport Management, Marketing or a related field
Five years of sales experience in an intercollegiate or professional athletics environment
Two years of managerial or supervisory experience
Experience with Ticketmaster/Archtics or an equivalent ticketing system
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Creative, enthusiastic, detail-oriented individual with a strong work ethic
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
Ability to engage effectively with others of diverse cultures or backgrounds
Ability to work a non-standard work week which will include nights, weekends, and holidays
Experience creating and/or implementing comprehensive sales training programs
