Please take a moment to review NOVAâ™s Annual Security Reports.General Description: Northern Virginia Community Collegeâ™s (NOVA) Enrollment Marketing Specialist will work in partnership with the Enrollment Management & Student Success (EMSS) division and Marketing Director to advance the institution's enrollment and retention efforts through the successful execution of purposeful campaigns, projects, events, creative work and messaging to showcase NOVAâ™s brand and strategic initiatives. The Enrollment Marketing Specialist will report to the Enrollment Management & Student Success (EMSS) division and work closely with Marketing and Enrollment Management to develop, implement, evaluate and evolve enrollment strategies, processes and materials and serve as a liaison between Student Service areas such as High School, Community and Campus Outreach, Advising and Financial Aid. The Specialist also serves as the internal expert for Enrollment Management customer relationship management system, using that data to drive decision-making and advise Marketing and Enrollment Management accordingly. In addition, this position analyzes the effectiveness of recruitment and retention campaigns and assists with service recommendations and problem resolution.Duties and Tasks:The Enrollment Marketing Specialist will work closely with Marketing and EMSS division toward the strategic development and execution of the enrollment marketing funnel. The position will facilitate and execute new and existing recruitment strategies and create the production plans associated with enrollment marketing. The Enrollment Marketing Specialist works creatively and collaboratively with multiple stakeholders to devise, craft, package and deliver marketing communications that support the NOVA brand direction and meet and achieve the enrollment goals and priorities of the college.Essential Functions: The position will; ⢠Facilitate the organization, design, execution, testing and evaluation of segmented communications to reach a broad range of target audiences; ⢠Work with internal and external partners to plan, develop and implement the marketing plan for recruitment and enrollment of new students, as well as the retention of students overall; ⢠Help develop strategies to plan and determine the effectiveness of recruitment and yield activities; Create content and direct associated creative work. ⢠Responsible for developing the recruitment and retention messaging to be executed on various channels such as social media, websites and collateral materials. ⢠Assist in planning email strategy and content through Salesforce.org (CRM). ⢠Primary point of contact for CRM as it relates to EMSS lead and nurture strategies and campaigns.
Required KSAs: ⢠Progressive career experience in marketing and/or communications role. ⢠Ability to develop and execute a marketing funnel, preferably enrollment marketing funnel ⢠Demonstrated leadership ability for visionary thinking, collaboration, and motivating others ⢠Knowledge of CRMs and their use in marketing and communications campaigns ⢠Ability to work with diverse and complex audiences ⢠Excellent verbal and written abilities ⢠Familiarity with project management processes ⢠Ability to supervise multiple activities simultaneously ⢠Ability to plan, coordinate and implement a strategic marketing plan Independent decision making skills.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelorâ™s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field; OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.Significant years of marketing experience and knowledge of CRM system(s).Demonstrated experience managing the development, coordination and implementation of a strategic marketing plan.Experience in writing communication plans.
