Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to: •Make outbound sales calls/appointments to generate ticket and football tailgate parking sales •Management of ticket office duties for assigned sports •Provide customer service to University and general public customers for a variety of events •Assist in preparation and game day management of Soccer, Volleyball, Football, W/M Hockey, W/M Basketball •reconciliation of events •Assist in supervision of part-time student staff •Adhere to NCAA/NCHC/WCHA/NSIC ticket policies with student-athlete ticket distribution •Printing and distributing of season and single game tickets •Managing general will call •Solving customer service related issues as they arise •Other duties will be assigned as needed

The work environment requires that the incumbent communicates courteously, following customer service standards to customers and co-workers under stressful, high-paced circumstances. The work must be performed within time constraints, meeting delivery schedules and internal deadlines. Physical ability to type at a keyboard and use a computer terminal for up to two hours at a time, several times a day. Effective communication and decision-making skills. Knowledge of public relations and interpersonal relationship skills. Knowledge of office management practices and procedures. Organization skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and details efficiently, often with numerous interruptions. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Project management methods.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Management/Administration, Sales, Business or similar.
• Have a strong knowledge of, and interest in, collegiate athletics.
• Ability to quickly learn new software.
• Able to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of or experience with ticket sales, event management, ticketing database/software.
• Previous internship or ticket office experience.
