Graduate assistant positions are contingent on candidate being accepted to the D'Youville Graduate School in the program of Business Administration or Health Services Administration. The GA position are two year positions, reviewable/renewable at the conclusion of year one.

All applicants should have intercollegiate athletics experience, be organized, reliable, coachable, willing to work late hours, and capable of taking to on new tasks.

Specific Duties Include:

• Provide one-on-one tutoring and mentoring for specified at-risk student athletes.
• Assist in monitoring study halls.
• Assist in special department projects as directed.
• Knowledge/understanding of NCAA rules, regulations and philosophies.
• Responsible for report of potential violations, eligibility problems, rules infractions, or disciplinary action of student-athletes immediately to your supervisor.
• Create a positive environment for student-athletes by communicating clearly and fairly with each student-athlete on matters that affect his/her development including academic, physical, social, spiritual and athletic issues.
