Responsible for building membership in the Health Plan through effective phone sales effort. Provides investigative research and appointment scheduling via cold calling and answering incoming calls. Acts as liaison between other the Health Plan departments, clients, prospects and brokers to fulfill sales and service objectives.
Cold calls potential enrollees of the Geisinger Health Plan to establish an appointment or sale.
Prospects may include, but not limited to, small business owners, employees of companies offering the Health Plan, individual subscribers and Medicare recipients.
Increases membership, develops and maintains liaison with clients and prospective clients via effective phone communication.
Review daily stats, answer rep questions, monitor calls and encourage sales production from the Call Center Team.
Mentor and train reps in various systems.
Helps communicate sales info from meetings to staff and attend delegated meetings so there is always call center representation.
Prepares and makes presentations to employer group decision makers, clients and individuals.
Submits appropriate paperwork to ensure policies and procedures are completed and administered in a timely manner.
Stays abreast of all the Health Plan policies and changes in accordance with the Health Plan, HIPAA and Department of Insurance guidelines.
Answers incoming calls when necessary.
Provides specific information, answers questions and provides direction to prospects and clients.
Assists in servicing existing clients by various sales and service initiatives as assigned.
Responsible for on-going maintenance to database according to current requirements.
Meets or exceeds predetermined membership and enrollment goals and appointment setting goals.

Affordable Care Act Individual Marketplace and State based Exchange- Pennie knowledge preferred.
Performs sales and customer service training to new and existing representatives as appropriate.
Assesses the performance of each licensed representative.
Responds to achievements and deficiencies as appropriate.
Provides direction to the Licensed Call Center Sales Representatives in order to implement planned strategies.
Provides data and expertise as needed to achieve planned strategy results.
Oversees activities of Licensed representatives providing customer service and support to both existing and prospective clients in all products.
Maintains CRM operations and acts as the department's main tester and signs off on updates.
Serves as the contact to other departments including IT for CRM integration.
Maintains and reports all Phone data.
Serves as the liaison for 3rd party call center, develop annual call forecast, training and budget.
Maintain the monthly sales representative work calendar ensuring adequate store representation
Provides direction to the sales coordinators for greeting walk ins, sign in sheet and proper greeting and assessment of needs depending on the line of business.
Acts as the point of contact for store maintenance, alarm monitoring and on time daily opening.
