WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

We're looking for a Content Marketing Specialist who has a proven track record of driving significant growth through content creation, copy writing and search engine marketing. You will be responsible for helping execute 6AM City’s audience development strategy by leading copy writing efforts and optimizing campaigns across multiple online channels for 6AM City’s corporate accounts, marketing campaigns, and the Six and Main ecommerce brand. The ideal candidate is an  innovative self-starter who gets things done and is excited about contributing to the voice of 6AM City.

Responsibilities include working alongside the marketing team in daily operations creating copy and content that converts, positively impacting 6AM City’s audience development goals for all brands:

• Copywriting: Drafting and editing copy for marketing content as needed. This includes but is not limited to ecommerce newsletters, landing pages, giveaways, drip campaigns, ad copy, press releases, social copy, etc. 
• SEO/SEM: Support online channels with research and implementation of findings for optimization of copy and landing pages.
• Keyword Research: Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization.
• Ecommerce Marketing: Performing keyword research, editing, and managing publishing specifically on Shopify+ to support brand, artist, and product pages as well as social media platforms for ad placement.
• Social Media Management: Responsible for 6AM City corporate social media channels.  This includes strategy, posting cadence, content creation, copywriting and scheduling.

• Website Development Support: Ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on existing and updated code.

• Creative Content Conception: Assist the marketing team in creating unique market disrupting content through an analytical approach.

• Reporting and Analytics: Support the marketing team in compiling reporting on SEO efforts and effectiveness.  
• Miscellaneous Project Support: Support the marketing team efforts on referral, giveaway, advertising, ecommerce, and other campaigns as needed. 

WE’D BE FIRED UP IF YOU HAVE SOME OF THESE TRAITS

We are looking for team members with a proven track record of collaboration within a small and mighty team:

• 3+ years of full-time experience in related marketing roles or the media industry.
• Proven experience in delivering a copywriting tone and voice that connects and converts with consumers in a manner consistent with 6AM City’s brand voice.
• Understanding of the media planning and buying process and bonus points for a background in digital marketing concepts and best practices (paid and organic social media strategy, email marketing campaigns, copywriting, etc.).
• Strong understanding and experience in various marketing copywriting executions (PR, ads, SEO, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of social media tactics, trends, planning and execution.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and provide action-oriented insights.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace, Asana, Shopify, Ads Manager and CMS Platforms..
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to collaborate with others and work cross-functionally across departments.
• Confident, self-starter, can-do attitude and passion for working in a fast-paced environment.
• Enthusiastic individual who portrays excitement for continued learning and working with others.
• Take ownership of and pride in everything you do.
• Passion for media, the 6AM City brand, and connecting local communities.
