Position will support the Assistant Athletic Director for Ticketing with the day-to-day operations of the box office including, but not limited to, ticket operations, sales initiatives, staffing and customer service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Understand and agree to abide by the mission of CBU and the CBU Athletics Department.
- Responsible for managing and operating ticketing system (currently Paciolan/TicketsWest), which includes, but is not limited to, event building, ticket and promotion configuration, user security, ticket design and proofing.
- Ensure all hardware and software are working efficiently for staff and customer use.
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the CBU Box Office by providing excellent customer service digitally, over the phone and in person. This will include answering customer questions over the phone, responding to customer inquiries through digital platforms, and assisting walk up customers pre-game or day of event. Communicate with donors, public, students, and faculty-staff on a regular basis to resolve seating needs, complaints and staff support.
- Provide exceptional customer service, conflict resolution and enforcement of NCAA regulations as they relate to ticketing for home competitions to include recruits, high school coaches, players, families, general public, and donors.
- Implement individual game, season ticket, and group sales strategies for athletic ticketed sporting events with an emphasis on growing fan base and revenue.
- Help develop and execute sales and marketing plans including the design and implementation of all comprehensive season ticket and group sales strategies.
- Assist the Assistant Athletic Director for Ticketing with managing the department’s budget, hiring, and supervision of student workers.
- Help oversee all ticketing operations for athletic events and select on-campus events. These duties can include printing of tickets, managing complimentary pass lists, managing group ticket lists, overseeing will-call operations, managing student workers, and reconciling cash with detailed financial reports at the closing of days’ business operations.
- Assist with event logistics as needed with other event staff to ensure operational readiness, efficiency and resource utilization for the consistent delivery of services related to ticketing and front of house event operations.
- Coordinate with various members of the athletics department including, but not limited to: marketing, communications, media production, development, facilities and event management.
- Help prepare regular ticket sales audits and reports through ticket system to reflect revenue and attendance at CBU events.
- Support the Assistant Athletic Director for Ticketing with database management, including managing and organizing duplicate customer accounts, working with the campus departments to keep records up-to-date, and assisting customers with address changes throughout the year.
- Coordinate event logistics as needed with other event staff to ensure operational readiness, efficiency, and resource utilization for the consistent fulfillment of services related to ticketing and satisfactory customer service.
- Understand and agree to abide by the policies and procedures of manual for ticketing office.
- Adhere to all institutional, conference and NCAA by-laws and regulations.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position will work in accordance with the Assistant Athletic Director for Ticketing to supervise student workers. Could be responsible for assigning work and/or giving direction to part-time Student Workers, in order to complete office work assignments.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
