Ekspla-USA is growing, and looking for a physicist/engineer to join our Sales & Service Team, responsible for:

 - Supporting laser applications

 - Installing and servicing high-energy pulsed solid-state lasers, OPG/OPO/OPA systems, and related products

 - Technical program management. 

Candidate should have a background in physics/optics with extensive knowledge of pulsed solid-state lasers, non-linear optics, and electronics.  Key fields include ultrafast optics, joule-class lasers, and non-linear spectroscopy.

Successful candidate will have excellent communication skills (written and verbal), good attention to detail, and a passion for attacking interesting problems, finding solutions, and helping customers understand and effectively utilize pulsed laser systems and related components.

The position requires approximately 50% to 70% travel, mostly domestic with occasional trips to Canada and 1-2 trips/year to Europe and possibly Asia.  Due to restrictions at certain key customer sites, candidate must be a US citizen.

The position could be mostly field-service or could include up to ~50% sales, depending on a candidate’s skills and aptitude.
